A multi-media visual artist who continues to explore paint, fiber, and experimenting with all the possibilities these materials afford her. Based in Halifax, she has taken various workshops around Atlantic Canada, the US and Europe—expanding her skills in photography, painting, drawing and textile work. 

Liza has taken part in a number of group shows around Halifax and has participated in Paint the Town Annapolis Royal for the last 5 years. In 2009, she had the good fortune to travel to Sable Island with a group of artists to paint for a week. One of the resulting watercolours was given the People's Choice Award at a group show at the Craig Gallery in Dartmouth. Her 2017 solo show of textile works at Gallery Nineteen Nineteen focused on her fiber works of hooked rugs and felted paintings. In 2018 she had a felted wall sculpture included in a juried show at the Argyle Gallery of Fine Art. As a member of Felt::Feutre Canada, she participated in their bi-annual Sympossium 2018.  Her piece was chosen to accompany the Shrine exhibit to the Craft Council of British Columbia on Granville Island in Vancouver. She is a Memberr of fiber Arts as well and Craft Nova Scotia.

Her work has been collected in Canada, the US and Europe.
